SPHL: Macon Mayhem Sign Defenseman Ben Brockway

The Macon Mayhem have announced that defenseman Ben Brockway has signed with the team for the 2024-25 season.

Brockway will make his professional debut with the Mayhem this season, following four years in college hockey. Brockway recorded three assists in 20 games with the Worcester State University, contributing to the Lancers’ advancement to the MASCAC tournament. Over his three seasons at Bethel University, Brockway played in 42 games, scoring one goal and providing four assists. He divided his freshman year between Bethel and Team Maryland of the EHL, while also completing a full junior season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Cobourg Cougars.

Brockway will join teammates Hugh Anderson, Brandon Picard, Noah Robinson, Josh Boyko, Michael McChesney, Jarret Kup, Tao Ishizuka, A.J. Ryan, Jake Goldowski and Brad Jenion as the Mayhem kick off their season at the Macon Coliseum on October 19th, facing off against the Birmingham Bulls at home.
