Thatcher Demko Suffers Injury

Last night the Vancouver Canucks picked up a 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. During the game, the Canucks lost their goalie Thatcher Demko who left the game just ten minutes in. The injury is undisclosed at this time but he was seen shaking his left leg during warmups and went to the bench and talked to head coach Rick Tocchet. Demko stopped all six shots he faced before being replaced by Kevin Lankinen. Demko missed 24 games to start the season after he suffered a knee injury in last season’s playoffs. He also left the January 2nd game against the Seattle Kraken with back spasms.
