Breaking News: Jonathan Toews Out and Placed In Concussion Protocol

As if this season couldn’t be more stressful for Blackhawks fans, we found out this morning Jonathan Toews Has been placed in concussion protocol. This is enormous news if you consider what Toews has gone through, missing all of last season. Toews has also had concussions in his past. The Blackhawks will want to take their time and monitor him closely and make sure he’s ready to go.

Toews was seemingly finding his stride as this season moved on but still wasn’t his old self. Toews has nineteen points in forty-three games this season. Roumeliotis tweeted out a hit Toews took against the RedWings where this injury could have happened. Toews will miss the game tonight versus Colorado. Let’s all hope this is a fast recovery and we get Captain Serious back quickly.
