Today, Boston placed Patrick Brown and AJ Greer on waivers for assignment.

These moves show that the youth movement may finally happen in Boston, or at least in the next ten games. Boston is carrying John Beecher, Matthew Poitras, and Mason Lohrei on the roster to start the season.

All three players have earned their spot on this roster, and now they have the opportunity to prove it. However, these expectations may be moderately unfair to Poitras.

As of releasing this article, the Bruins have yet to release an official announcement, and the future of PTO signee Danton Heinen is unknown. An update will be added to this article when that news comes in.
