Boston Bruins Notes:

The Bruins suffered their only regulation loss of the season on Saturday in Detroit. It was their consecutive road loss to the Red Wings. Boston won at Dallas last Valentine’s Day 3-2 in overtime on a goal by David Pastrnak. The Bruins have the second-best penalty kill in the NHL and have scored at least three goals in all eleven games.

Dallas Stars Notes:

The Stars are coming off a 2-0 loss to the Vancouver Canucks Saturday night that snapped a three-game winning streak. Dallas has scored just three power-play goals in 10 games, which is tied for second-to-last in the NHL. The Stars do own the top penalty kill in the league at 94.4 percent.

Boston – The Bruins have been platooning goaltenders all season, so Jeremy Swayman gets the start Monday night. Swayman is 5-0-0 with a 1.38 goals-against average and a .954 save percentage.

Dallas – Roope Hintz leads the Stars with five goals and six assists in nine games. Hintz scored a goal in Dallas’ 3-2 overtime home loss to Boston last season. Matt Duchene is a late scratch with an injury.
