ECHL Breaking News: Florida Everblades vs Orlando Solar Bears Game Postponed

The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that tonight’s game vs Florida Everblades has been postponed due to ice issues due to a power outage that hit the Amway Center and Orlando area last night, efforts were made to play, but it was deemed that ice conditions were unsafe. Orlando had announced earlier in the afternoon that the original 6 pm puck drop had been pushed back to 7 pm, but the reasoning was never announced until the official announcement from the team postponing the game. No makeup date has yet to be announced.

Orlando and Florida had played two games earlier this weekend in Estero as the two teams would split the weekend series. The Solar Bears don’t have another home game until after the Christmas break as they will play the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Savannah Ghost Pirates, and Atlanta Gladiators this weekend and then will return home on Thursday, December 28th, when they face the South Carolina Stingrays. Both teams currently sit at 24 points on the season as the Everblades are in fourth place, as the Everblades have more wins in regulation.
