ECHL: Fort Wayne Komets Transactions | 02/21/2024

The Fort Wayne Komets have had a tough week as they lost all three games last weekend; forwards Jack Dugan, Marc-Antoine Pepein, and Head Coach Jesse Kallechy were all fined by the league. Dugan and Pepin were both given game misconducts, and Kallechy was fined for published comments he made after Sunday’s game. On Wednesday, Fort Wayne would lose two more players as defenceman Connor Corcoran would be recalled to the Bakersfield Condors, and forward Ethan Keppen would sign a PTO with the Hartford Wolf Pack; the Wolf Pack would also sign Chris Cameron from the Indy Fuel to an ATO as well.

Corcoran is in his fourth year as a pro as he’s spent time with the Henderson Golden Knights and Bakersfield Condors in the AHL, putting up seven goals and six assists for 13 points in 29 AHL games. In the ECHL, the Former fifth-round pick of the Vegas Golden Knights has 37 goals and 51 assists for 88 points in 134 career games while spending time with the Fort Wayne Komets and Savannah Ghost Pirates. Prior to going pro, Corcoran spent four seasons with the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL, putting up 37 goals and 83 assists for 120 points in 252 games.

For Keppen, the Wolf Pack will be the fourth different AHL team he’s played for in his career as he has four goals and three assists for seven points in 54 games as he’s spent time with the Utica Comets, Abbotsford Canucks, and Charlotte Checkers. In the ECHL, the former fourth-round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has played with the Maine Mariners and Fort Wayne Komets, putting up 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 45 games.
