ECHL: Greenville Swamp Rabbits Re-sign Tanner Eberle for 23-24 Season

Greenville, SC—After a pretty successful season with the Swamp Rabbits last season, forward Tanner Eberle inks another contract in Greenville. Eberle, 28, has played six seasons in the ECHL as he’s spent time with the Allen Americans, Quad City Mallards, Jacksonville Icemen, and Greenville Swamp Rabbits putting up 71 goals in just 237 games played, he also spent three years playing overseas. The Regina, Saskatchewan native has good puck handling but also shooting skills, as he had 24 goals in the regular 22-23 season in just 61 games played, along with two goals during the Kelly Cup Playoffs against Jacksonville. Eberle had 25 assists last season and was seen on the PP lines. Eberle seems to be a viable player needed for Greenville to hoist the cup again in over 20 years. As the 23-24 season approaches, who knows what Greenville has in store to make a comeback from last season’s round one playoff run.
