ECHL: Reading Royals Newest Signings

The Reading Royals have signed two players to a standard player contract for the remainder of the 2023-2024 season. They have signed Powell Connor and Max Kouznetsov from Canisius College. Powell Connor is a British Columbia native. He has played the past four seasons in the NCAA as a defenseman. Three of the seasons he played were with Michigan State University, and this current season, he has played with Canisius College. In the past four years, he has been playing in the NCAA; he has played eighty-four games; he has scored only one goal, has seven assists, and has a total of thirty-nine penalty minutes.

Going Max Kouznetsov is a native of New Jersey and has played the past four seasons with Canisius Collage. The New Jersey native is a forward and has played a total of 127 games in the NCAA. He has scored a total of thirty goals in the past four seasons he has been playing with Canisius Collage and has a total of forty-one assists. He has spent ninety-two minutes in the penalty box in the past four seasons and only has spent 23 of the 92 minutes this season. Both players signed are coming from Canisius College, have played with each other this season, and have a bit of chemistry with each other. They are expected to have their pro-debut with the Reading Royals this weekend when they face up against the Worcester Railers on Friday, March 15th, or March 16th, when the Royals play against the Maine Mariners.
