ECHL: Savannah Ghost Roster Transactions | 04/04/2024

Savannah has a few Roster updates for this week. Before the game against the South Carolina Stingrays, they signed Nick Granowicz, moved Rookie T.J. Lloyd to reserves, and still have Nolan Welsh and Tanner Vescio on Injured Reserves.

2/7/20 IHM20-Wisconsin (Fri) 8-4 U of M victory

Nick Granowicz is a 26-year-old Right-handed Forward from Michigan who just finished his season with UMass and spent four seasons prior with the University of Michigan. He has 126 collegiate games, 21 goals, and 23 assists. He has also played with the BCHL in his college career, with 58 games, 32 goals, and 27 assists. This shows that he is an excellent addition to Savannah to increase their puck-in-net opportunities.

Forward Nolan Welsh’s last game was on March 23rd. Rookie Welsh debuted in the March 20th game and played great defense against the Florida Everblades. In the three-game series, Welsh took an unpenalized check from behind, causing him to leave the bench and not return. He has been out since with an Undisclosed injury.

Defenseman Tanner Vescio was injured in his last game, March 29th against Orlando. Tanner has played 38 games this season with Savannah and has three goals, three assists, and 21 penalty minutes.

The Ghost Pirates meet with the South Carolina Stingrays in Savannah on April 4th at 7:00 pm. The Ghost Pirates are 6th in the Division with a 27-32-6, and the Stingrays are 3rd with a 38-24-4; the Stingrays are looking to clinch their playoff position for the Kelly Cup.
