Full Analysis of Detroit Prospect Tournament Roster

The Detroit Red Wings posted their prospect tournament schedule and roster on Wednesday morning. Garth Wickham posted the schedule and roster in his article “Red Wings Announce 2022 NHL Prospect Tournament Roster and Schedule”.

Here is a closer look at the full roster announced on Wednesday.

Goaltenders (3)

Sebastian Cossa, G

Top goaltending prospect Sebastian Cossa leads the three goaltenders that will play in the tournament. Cossa will turn professional after completing his junior career with Edmonton (WHL) last year. Cossa will likely be a backup in Grand Rapids (AHL) or Toledo (ECHL) to start the season. Jan Bednar is unsigned and will return for his over-age year in Acadie-Bathurst (QMJHL). Undrafted goaltender Andrew Oke plays for Saginaw (OHL) and is the third goalie in the group.
