Logan Stanley Signs One-Year Contract With the Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets have announced that they have re-signed Logan Stanley to a one-year, one-way contract worth $1 million dollars. Stanley appeared in 19 games for the Winnipeg Jets during the 2022-23 season, where he scored one goal and two assists.

The 18th overall selection in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft has played three seasons in the NHL, racking up 114 games. The 25-year-old defenseman has accumulated three goals and 17 assists for 20 points total in his NHL career. Stanley’s career-high is one goal and 12 assists for 13 points in 58 games during the 2021-22 season.

Logan Stanley is currently listed at 6’7″ and 228 pounds; his current contract will make him a restricted free agent with arbitration rights at the end of the 2023-24 season. The Kitchener, Ontario-born defenseman will look for an opportunity with the Winnipeg Jets when the season kicks off for them on October 11th against the Calgary Flames.
