Arvanitis played on two college teams throughout his career, first at UMass and then at Babson College. The first ECHL team he played on was the Rapid City Rush at the end of the 2021-22 season. During the 2022-23 season, Arvanitis played in four ECHL games; one game with the Rush, two games with, the Tulsa Oilers, and one game with the Wichita Thunder. He spent the majority of this season with the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the SPHL. Arvanitis has been with the Mariners since the beginning of the 2023-24 season.

With the Mariners this season, Arvanitis currently sits at a .928 save percentage. Out of the Mariners’ goalies, he has been in net the majority of the time. With 19 games played, he has led the Mariners to a victory 11 times.  In comparison, Mariners’ goalie Shane Starrett has played 17 games but has only won four of these.

Arvanitis’ Rookie of the Month title was announced Friday, February 2nd, the beginning of a three-day homestand against one of his former teams, the Rapid City Rush. It was only fitting that Arvanitis was in net on Friday. However, when it came time for the second period of the game, Arvanitis did not return to the ice, and instead Mariners goalie Kyle Keyser replaced him in net. It’s been reported that Arvanitis suffered an injury, but it is not yet clear exactly what happened.
