New Jersey Devils Announce Preseason Schedule

The New Jersey Devils announced their preseason schedule on Monday morning.

The Devils will play a total of seven games, with four on the road and three at the Prudential Center, all with 7 PM EST start times. The first game will be at home against the New York Islanders on Sunday, September 22nd. After that, they begin a bit of a back-and-forth situation, moving quickly between home and away games, and will play the Montreal Canadiens on September 24th. Then they head back home to host the Washington Capitals on the 25th before heading back out on the road to play the Islanders at UBS Arena on the 27th.

The devils will face the New York Rangers for the first time since the April 3rd match that ended with a total of eight players being ejected from the game, four from each team. The devils will face them in a home-and-home, back-to-back match on September 30th and October 1st.

The Devils will close out the preseason playing the Philadelphia Flyers on October 3rd before heading off to Prague to face past head coach Lindy Ruff and the Buffalo Sabres in the Global Series.
