COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus Blue Jackets beat the visiting Carolina Hurricanes 5-4 in a shootout on Saturday night. Kirill Marchenko tied the game at 4 with 1:04 minutes left in the game. Sean Monahan scored the only goal in the shootout, and Elvis Merzļikins made 32 saves for Columbus.
