Keegan Bezenah for Inside The Rink
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Griffins continued their three-game home stand against the Iowa Wild on Sunday looking to recover from a rough stretch in February.
Iowa would strike first and fast taking a 2-goal lead, with their second goal coming six seconds into the power play, putting the Griffins in a tough spot. Eventually, they would claw their way back into the game scoring once at the end of the first period and a second goal in the second. With both teams trading shots the rest of the game, Iowa would eventually win the game in overtime with a final score of 3-2.
