DULUTH, Ga. – The Orlando Solar Bears made the trip north to face off against the Atlanta Gladiators at Gas South Arena on Friday night. The Gladiators struck first midway through the first period with a goal from Ryan Cranford but Orlando answered with their own tally from Jarrett Lee to tie the game before intermission. The second period saw no goals from either side, however that did not last long into the third. Orlando added two more points thanks to back-to-back goals from Jaydon Dureau and Andrew Coxhead, while keeping Atlanta from responding until the last minute. After pulling goaltender Ethan Haider, the Gladiators were able to get within one point of tying things up after Blake Murray notched his tenth goal of the season. Unfortunately, Atlanta was unable to tie things up before the horn and they lost to the Solar Bears by a score of 3-2.
