NORFOLK, Va.- The Trois-Rivières Lions took on the Norfolk Admirals at Scope Arena in game four of the ECHL North Division Semifinal playoff game.

The Lions had the better of play for the majority of the first period until the Admirals got the first goal just under the 10-minute mark of the period by Gehrett Sargis. That was followed by an Austen Keating goal, and Sargis got his second goal of the period, to close out the first period. The Lions outshot the Admirals 14-8.

The Admirals appeared to take full control of the game, scoring a goal in the first 25 seconds of the second period by Thomas Caron, to go up 4-0. However, the game continued to have plenty of back-and-forth action. The Lions got goals by Cedric Montminy, and Jakov Novak to cut the Norfolk lead in half at the end of the period. Shots on goal were even at 11 apiece for the period.

The third period became somewhat chippy, as there was plenty of pushing, and shoving around the goal whenever there was a stoppage in play. Jacob Paquette really tightened the game up for Trois-Rivieres by making it a one goal game close to the halfway mark of the period. The Admirals seized momentum back with a power play goal by Simon Kubicek . The Lions would pull the goalie with about 3:30 to go in the game, but that backfired as Darick Louis-Jean scored an empty end goal to put the Lions away, with a Norfolk 6-3 victory. Shots on goal in the period favored the Admirals 11-7. Total shots on goal, Admirals 30- Lions 32.
The Admirals hold a 3-1 lead in the best of 7 series, with final three games of the series scheduled to be played in Norfolk, as needed.
