ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades hosted the Worcester Railers for game three in their series Saturday night at Hertz Arena. The Everblades were wearing a specialty jersey for the second straight game. In honor of First Responder Night, two members from the local police department rappelled from the rafters to deliver the game puck.

Unlike the first two games, Saturday’s game was high-scoring. The Everblades jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first period, including captain Joe Pendenza’s 100th as an Everblade. The Railers would storm back, scoring three straight and giving them their longest lead of the series. The Everblades, however, would score three goals in the third period to steal the win, 5-3.
