21-year-old Luka Profaca returns to the San Diego Gulls after spending a week with the Oilers. 25-year-old Jamie Rome was claimed off waivers from the Wheeling Nailers. Rome is playing in his first full season as a professional, having signed with the Orlando Solar Bears in April 2023 after his season with Western Michigan University ended. Rome has seen limited playing time since he turned pro. He played five games with the Solar Bears last season and entered the offseason looking for a team. He signed with the Wichita Thunder in December 2023. He played seven games for the Thunder, including two against the Oilers, scoring one goal and one assist. Rome was traded to the Cincinnati Cyclones for defenseman Nicholas Favaro on February 2, 2024. He scored his only goal for the Thunder when they played the Cyclones on January 13. Rome only played two games for the Cyclones, recording one assist before being traded to the Wheeling Nailers for future considerations on February 15. He played in four games for the Nailers before being waived.

The Tulsa Oilers travel to Allen, Texas, to play the Allen Americans on Friday at 7:10 p.m. at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.
